Earthdance London was also the hub event for the first Earthdance international festival, with 5,000 psytrance peace partiers at Brixton Academy. The event was produced by Return To The Source, led by Earthdance founder Chris Deckker. Also playing live that night was Chris’ band Medicine Drum, a fusion of psytrance / electronica and acoustic percussion, played by Chris.

This was the source event for all the Earthdance events that were to follow over the next 16 years, in over 600 locations worldwide.
