Since its inception in 1997, Earthdance has coordinated synchronized events for peace in multiple locations worldwide.  In alignment with the United Nations’ International Day of Peace on Sept. 21.

Every year Earthdance focuses on a theme. This year our theme is “Collective Intelligence.” “Collective Intelligence is the capacity of human collectives to engage in intellectual cooperation in order to create, innovate, and invent.” – Pierre Levy

The highlight each year is the synchronized “Prayer for Peace,” which unites participants in all locations—and online—in a shared moment of intention. It has been held in more than 1000 locations and 80 countries and has supported hundreds of charities worldwide. With its global reach and diverse range of attendees, Earthdance is the first and largest coordinated multi-location music and peace event in the world.

Earthdance is a world of communities, working and playing together to create a culture of peace, through music and dance events, synchronized global link-ups, social activism, yoga, and healing practices. It is a platform for the dissemination of wisdom from the elders of many cultures. Earthdance sets the standard for conscious, transformational gatherings.

More than just an epic party, Earthdance is a Global Peace Movement.

All the Earthdance events thus far include: Los Gatos; Maui; Phoenix; Vancouver, BC; Rio de Janeiro; Sao Paulo; Rio Grande do Sol; Brasilia; Dubai; Budapest; Hamburg; Zurich; Mandangad (India); Sebebe (Swaziland); Sant Kitts and Nevis; Uvita (Costa Rica); Jorochito (Bolivia); Perth; Johannesburg and Capetown.

Anticipated public events may include large music festivals with tens of thousands attending as well as various, smaller local celebrations. Private gatherings or house parties are a very special part of Earthdance and we welcome hosts to register. To learn more about having your own house party. (Link to house party page)

Earthdance welcomes new event producers each year, who are invited to register at earthdance.org. To be an Earthdance producer, one needs to commit to participate in the globally synchronized peace meditation and to donate to a local charity.
