Vision 2020: Co-Manifestival

Earthdance events throughout the world have always been an opportunity for all to join together, young and old, from many countries and cultures, in a common synchronized moment of global connection and intention. Our shared values include peace, social justice and the environment – creating a sustainable world for ourselves and future generations. This is a powerful moment, joyfully followed by dancing in celebration of each other and our global communities.

This year, we’ll take those intentions further! Before and after this year’s gathering on September 19, our theme asks exactly how we can practically, positively manifest these intentions through actions. Earthdance producers have always made donations to local charities. This year, for our “Vision 2020”, we encourage everyone involved – producers, performers, artists, speakers, volunteers, and participants alike – to extend and expand our connections beyond the festive moment.

A “Co-Manifestival” happens year-round. It happens when we come together to clean a beach or park, to teach our children, to rescue animals, to find homes for the homeless, to plant food, to understand our planet, its nature and its climate, and to create compassion, art, music and true community in our lives and where we live. We know we are stronger when we manifest together.

Our theme this year is all about inspiration and making things actually happen. There is no shortage of ways we can contribute to one another’s joy and happiness, and end all artificial divisions of geography and culture which can keep us apart. Let’s remember who we really are, and as we gather, also organize ourselves to truly create a better world.

Through this theme, we ask each Earthdance gathering to take time to consider the greatest areas of need in your part of the world, and showcase ways we can manifest ourselves as solutionaries, individually and together, locally and globally. Earthdance is a celebration, and more. And this year, we are empowered!
